Changing the Narrative Part I

Survivors of trauma, especially in human trafficking, are often criminalized. Sometimes the cases are not easy to connect to the trafficking experience. But when one looks under the iceberg of human trafficking, the collateral consequences can slowly be identified one at a time. When we can fully understand the victim-offender intersectionality then we can more effectively prosecute and defend cases. This training is for anyone interested in this topic. We encourage law enforcement, prosecutors, criminal defense attorneys, social services providers, and survivor advocates to attend.
