Helping Survivors Successfully Apply for SSI/SSDI

Too often survivors apply for social security benefits based on disabilities related to their trauma and exploitation and are denied. This training will help survivors, survivor advocates, social services providers, and attorneys learn about what the requirements are to qualify for SSI/SSDI and how to assist survivors with their applications with the goal of helping more survivors successfully apply for these benefits. This training is open to anyone interested in this topic. The goal is to assist survivors with their applications so they do not need an attorney.
